These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ginseng Ledger website at ginseng-ledgrs.pro and your enrolment in any Ginseng Ledger course ("Service"). Please read them carefully. By accessing the site or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• "Ginseng Ledger", "we", "us", "our" — the educational practice operating at 22/F, Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong.
• "User", "you", "your" — any person who accesses the website or enrolls in a course.
• "Course" — any structured educational programme offered by Ginseng Ledger, delivered online with scheduled live sessions.
• "Content" — all written materials, recordings, documents, and information provided as part of a Course.
• "Agreement" — the contract formed between you and Ginseng Ledger upon your enrolment confirmation.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a Course or using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and that you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not enrol or continue to use the site.

3. Description of Services

Ginseng Ledger provides structured educational courses on healthcare and long-term care financial planning for adults based in or connected to Hong Kong. Services are delivered online via scheduled modules and live discussion sessions. All courses are educational in nature and do not constitute financial advice, insurance advice, legal advice, or medical advice.

4. User Accounts and Enrolment

Upon enrolment, you will receive access credentials for course materials and recordings. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials. You may not share your access with others. Ginseng Ledger reserves the right to suspend access where credentials are shared or misused.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Engage with course content respectfully and in good faith
• Not record or distribute live session content without written permission
• Not reproduce, resell, or redistribute course materials
• Treat other participants with courtesy in discussion sessions
• Not submit false or misleading information during enrolment

6. Intellectual Property

All course content, written materials, recordings, and website content are the intellectual property of Ginseng Ledger or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials for your personal educational purposes only. This licence does not permit reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any materials.

7. Payment Terms

Pricing

• Healthcare Costs in Midlife: HKD 1,680
• Long-Term Care Planning: HKD 2,480
• Integrated Health & Wealth Planning: HKD 3,120

Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment. We accept major credit and debit cards. All transactions are processed in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) via our third-party payment processor.

Refund Policy

• A full refund is available if cancellation is requested at least 7 calendar days before the course start date.
• If cancellation is requested within 7 days of the start date but before the first session, a credit for a future cohort will be offered.
• No refund or credit is available once the first session has taken place.
• If Ginseng Ledger cancels a course cohort, a full refund will be issued.

8. Course Delivery and Access

• Course modules are released on a weekly schedule beginning from the stated start date.
• Live session dates will be communicated upon enrolment confirmation.
• Recordings of all sessions are made available within 48 hours of each live session.
• Access to course recordings and materials continues for 12 months following the course completion date.
• We reserve the right to adjust session scheduling with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimer

Ginseng Ledger courses are educational in nature. Nothing in the courses or course materials constitutes personalised financial advice, regulated financial planning, insurance advice, legal advice, or medical advice. Course content reflects the information available at the time of preparation and may not reflect subsequent changes in law, policy, or market conditions. Participants should seek independent professional advice for their individual circumstances.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Ginseng Ledger's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the course fee paid by you. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of the Services or reliance on course content.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Ginseng Ledger harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of course materials.

12. Termination

Ginseng Ledger may terminate or suspend your access to a course if you materially breach these Terms. You may terminate your enrolment subject to the refund policy in Section 7. Upon termination, your licence to access course materials ceases immediately.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to resolve the matter informally in the first instance by contacting [email protected]. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement — These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ginseng Ledger.
• Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver — Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment — You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify enrolled participants of material changes by email. Continued use of the site or Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
